SPED Spout's Inaugural Post
Welcome to SPED Spout! SPED is short for Special Education. This is a place I hope you will feel free to spout! More than ever, teachers need support from each other, administrators,
parents, and their community. This blog will be my small effort to provide
support in some areas, such as a sounding board for rants or bragging board for
raves; teacher resources/tools; technology resources/tools; support from all; and humor sound off. I am currently a K-2nd grade Small Group EBD teacher in Georgia. I have taught multi-grade level Small Group EBD for the past 20 years. Being a teacher is one of the toughest jobs no matter what grade or area. I know, I know, we get a "3 month cushy summer break". For those of you who need a
refresher in math, 8 weeks does not = 3 months. 8 weeks go by in a flash, unless you are a parent! Feel free to share, there is always something to: share, teach, ask, or answer!
